I am Ahmed al-Hamdi, a certified translator and consecutive interpreter. I am a member of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting ITI, Chartered Institute of Linguists CIOL, Translators Association/Society of Authors, and the National Register of Public Service Interpreters NRPSI. I provide professional translation and interpreting services to businesses, solicitors, governmental bodies, educational establishments, universities, training centres, social services, courts, police, immigration tribunals, and much more.

I translate from English into Arabic and vice-versa, and I work from my own office, which is located in Deansgate, Manchester City Centre, in the United Kingdom. My translations are proofread by a professional native English proofreader. I hold an MSc in Translation and Interpreting, Postgraduate Diploma in Linguistics & Phonetics, Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Law), Diploma in Translation (Semi-Law), and a BA in English Language and Literature. I have published translations of literary and academic books.
